MARCELLE SEABOURNE ARTIST

Inspirations...
I am fortunate to live and work on the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds Area of Outstanding National Beauty, and find the continually changing landscape through times of day and seasons and the interplay between man-made and natural in our surroundings an exciting source of new ideas.
Light, texture and colour are all frequent starting points for the creative process.
I am equally fascinated by historic places. My work often features ideas from places I have visited, such as the medieval splendour of Lincoln Cathedral, the ruined abbey in Jedburgh, the dramatic landscapes of the Lake District or the historic beauty of Italian cities such as Bologna.
